Very well designed. Great anount of adjustment easy assembly
Also, great customer service.
I should've bought this the day I bought my AL-3059 smith machine. This is a game changer for sure. Fits perfectly, high quality steel construction.
Estoy súper fascinada me siento más motivada y en la comodidad de mi casa
Solid bench with lots of functionality. Especially good for those that want the most with given space
This item is gym quality! Every itme arrived in excellnt shape without a scratch. The instructions were spot on, only took me four hours to assemble.
I bought the AL-3107 because I wanted a smith machine that can function as a power rack and has a cable system. I was trying to find a machine that could fold up when not in use and didn’t need to be mounted on the wall and this checked all those boxes. It’s a solid rack and the folding feature really is great for maximizing your space if you want to fold it up when not in use. The extra features like the land mine and multi grip pull up bar are great to have too. The dip station bars are nice to have too.
Assembly was pretty easy and I labeled every part with the part number in the manual before I started to make my life easier, highly suggest doing that.
Everything about the rack itself is well made and sturdy. The cable system attachments however are pretty flimsy or not well designed. I replaced the lat pull down bar, the curl bar, and the two handles with better ones from REP and they are a good upgrade. I also bought REP j-cups that fit the 2” square posts. Despite that, I’m very happy with the rack and would recommend to anyone wanting those features of a smith-power rack with cable system and needs it to fold in to a smaller size when not in use.
Excellent machine. Well engineered and very sturdy. Assembly went smoothly with help from a friend to bring the right and left sub assemblies together to complete the main structure. Pulley system is smooth and minimal noise. Excellent addition to my Hoist two stack universal machine. I use the Atlas 4 times per week and already see good results after 3 weeks use.
Easy to put together. Well constructed and durable.
I had two different Marcy benches for my basement home gym. Both lasted a few years but eventually welds cracked and they broke where the back pad or seat attaches to the frame. I decided not to buy another "$100 bench" and just get a good all around bench.
I bought the Atlas multi functional bench and I really enjoy it so far. The back pad adjusts from slight decline to almost 90 degree incline, and the seat pad adjusts too. The preacher bench and leg curl/extension attachments are very easy to install too. Installation was pretty quick, about an hour, and included all tools for the job.
I've been using my bench for a few weeks now. Some observations: It's a bit heavier than my prior Marcy benches so it's a little harder to move but has two wheels on one end. It would be a bit easier to move if the wheels were larger diameter, so I may buy new ones from a hardware store. The preacher bench works well but the barbell holder part of it doesn't stick out enough for my arm length, so it's a bit hard to pick it and put down on the first/last reps, but doable. The leg extension/curl attachments are solid and work well. My only gripe is when doing a leg curl I cannot get a 100% full extension at the knee joint as the leg curl bottoms out on the bench; I get about 85% full extension. it's not terrible but just something I've noticed and tried to play around with settings.
Overall, very happy with the bench. Very comfortable padding. Easy to put together. The welds looks strong and the adjustable parts are solid with nice solid bearings and large diameter bolts. Would definitely recommend for home gym buyers as this "do it all" bench has all the attachments you could want on a bench.
Should be clear from the pictures, but it has all the adjustments you'd need to make it fit your proportions comfortably. And the material is comfortable as well. Feels like it's made solid and should hold up for a long time.
it works quite nicely. remember, there is a correct way to attach it, if you put it on backwards, you will note that its nearly impossible to use. just rotate it 180 degrees
I purchased the AL-3058 with leg press attachment and a bench. Based on reading reviews of several models and several companies, I expected assembly to be a major headache but it was actually quite easy if you take the time to organize the parts before assembly and take the time to make sure you understand the assembly step before each step. I had a two car garage to work with so i was really spread out. took less than 10 hours in three sessions. the assembled machine is exactly as I expected. very solid, pullies and cables are a little stiff to start so the lightest weights (0-1 plate) were a little slow to return at first, but the system is smoothing out with use. The railed barbell is very smooth functioning and the rails do not flex easily so its very stable with weight. The leg press plate actually works though you have to put it on the right way and you need to get the bench all the way into the machine to get under it properly. Given the size, there is some adapting to do all of the exercises I like relative to what i had at a gym but its not a big deal. So for some exercises, folks taller than 5'9" might consider the next larger model. Overall I am very pleased with the performance and I see no reason why this wont last for years.
Everything you want in a flat bench. Quality materials and a strong sturdy build. This flat bench pairs well with my Atlas smith machine.
